Resolution 01146RESOLUTION i■O. 1146. DECLARING PUBLIC INTER-CST AIM NECESSITY REQUIRE TEE ACQUISITION 02 A IOT OR SCHOOL PURPOSES. IiET:IVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, and said Council hereby finds and determines that the public interest and necessity require the acouisition by uaid City of Alameda for use by said city for school purposes all of that certain lot, piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in said City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the easterly line of Chestnat Street with the southern line of Lincoln Avenue, running thence easterly along the southern line of Lincoln Avenue seventy-frre (75) feet; thence at a right angle southerly forty (40) feet; thence at a right angle; angle westerly seventy-fire (75) feet to the eastera line of Chestnut Street; thence northerly and along the eastern line of Chestnut Street to the point of commencement. RESOLVED FURTHER, that the City Attorney be and he is hereby directed to commence condemnation proceedings in eminent domain for the acquisition of said lot, and that the Mayor be and he le hereby instructed and directed, for and on behalf of said city and its City Council, to subscribe to a complaint in the Superior Court of said Alameda County for the condemnation of said lot for school purposes. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing 'Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of June, 1927, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Calcutt, Latham, Neiss, Noble and President Otis, (5).
