DECLARING OUTIDING AT 2241 NACITIC AVENUE TO DE A
PUBLIC NUISANCE..
wamap..5, the Building Inspector of the City of Alameda found the building
structire located at 2241 Pacific Avenue to be so dilapidated from old age and neglect as
to be a fire menace, also a breeding. place for rodents andtlie' resort for vagrant or
dissolute persons, whereupon he gave notice in the anner provided by Ordinance No. 151,
'tow Series, of said city, iireotins the oozier to appear before tho city council Tueaday
evening, September 20, 1927, and show cause why said banding should not be condemned as a
public nuisance and abate es provided by said ordinance; end
W7EREAS, it appears that said notice ees duly and regularly given ty posting
and mailing in the time, form and manner provided ty said ordinance, and the matter comitg
on regularly for hearing before the council, and witnesses being sworn and testimony being
given by the rntilding Inspector, and other competent persons respecting the condition of
said tbilding, and the estimated cost of its reconstruction, repair or removal, and the
council having idly considered the matter, no therefore, it is hereby
REBOLVED, by the council of the citY of Alameda, that said building or struc-
ture be and the same in hereb y condemned es e public nuisance, and the owner thereof ie
hereby directed to abate nail nuisance within thirty days from the date of the passage of
this resolution, by having said building or structure properly resonstracted or repaired,
or by having the same razed or removed, otherwise the same vill to rezed or removed by the
Building Inspector and the exTenen thereof made a lien on the lot or parcel of land upon
wlicr the same is located.
The Building Inspector shall post and mail a copy of this resolution 8S pro-
vided by acid ordinance.
