PERMITTING TRANSFER OF LICENSE AGREEMENT TO THE GREAT WESTERN
POWER (OMPANY.
WHEREAS, on September 12, 1925, the 3oard of Scpervisrocs of the Coin ty of
Alomeda granted to the City of Alameda a license authorizing said city to lay three (5) fohr-
inch conduits and cables in the estuary tube betveen the cities of Oakland and Alamodu for
the purpose of providing electric energy to the City of Alameda,
AND WHEREAS, the Great Western 1-o7er Company has agreed to lay said conduits
and cables for the o12 of Alameda at its on cost and expense rroViding the permission hers
tolore granted to the City of Alameda is granted to said compamy,
AND ViHEREAS,the board of supervisors did, on Octoter 24, 1927, ty resolution,
grant such permission and authorized the lit y of Alameda to transfer said license agreement
of September 12, 1925, to the Great Western Dower Company, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, ty the Council of the City of iglameda, that li . view of all the cir-
cumstances, it 12 the sense of said council that said license agreemant of September 12, 1925,
be transferred to the Great Western Pou'er Company on condition that sail transfer be approv
ed by the Board of Public Utilities of the City of Alameda, and on the further condition tat
all the rights, duties and liabilities devolving epos the City of Alameda be transferred to
the Great Western Eoxer Company.
RESOLVED NURTHEE, that the mayor of the City of Alameda ne, and he is here-
by authorized to execato a" proper instrument making said transfer for and on ahalf of the
city, and the city clerk is directed to attestithe same.
