AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF. 310056 ACREZ OF LADD ON
BAY ?ARM ISLAND.
WHEREAS, 0. September 25, 1925, the council leased 122.06
acres of land on Bay Tarm Island, with the option. of purchasing portions
th[7,TCO1 TTUM time to time; and whereas, it is desirable at this time to ex-
ercise said option ana purchase thirty-oue acres more or less thereof in
what is smoun as lots 51-, 12, 13, 16 End 21 of said leased lands, now
therefore be it
RESOLVED, b the touneil of the City of Alameda, that said
city purChase 31.056 acres of the lands so leased at the pt"' fixed in
said option, to wit; 2605.00 per acre, amounting n the aggyezwate to the
sum of TWENTY WIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS (025,000.00); anajt is hereby or-
dered that said sum of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ( 00.) be
paid to the lessory and owners of said landm upon the delivery of a 6006
and sufficient deed therefor, approved 25 the city attorney.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Re-
solution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of
the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the ard day of January,
1928, by the following vote, to wit;
AYES: Councilmen, Calcutt, 'Latham, Hiess, Roble and President
NOES: Done,
ABSENT: None.
