RESCINDING MORMER PROPEEDINGS FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OP
PARK STREET.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did, on the 20th day of November ,
1923, and again on August 17, 1927, commence proceedings for the improvement of a
portion of Park Street by widening the roadway and narrowing the sidewalk thereof,
which proceedings were subsequently abandoned,
ATE WHEREAS, it ie the opinion of the council that new proceedings should
be taken for doing the work and making the improvement and that in order to clear
the records the old proceedings should be formally abandoned by resolution, now
therefore he it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the Gity of Alameda that the proceedings hereto-
,
fore taken for said improvement and all other proceedings theretor, and all re-
solutions, orders, notices and othermacts of the council or city officials subse-
quently horted or taken pertaining to said improvement, be and the same are here-
by' rescinde-d, cancelled and an:addled; and the city attorney and the city engineer
are hereby directed to prepare now proceedings for doing said work and making said
improvement, the same to consist of widening the roadway three (5) feet on each
side, repawing the portion widened, narrowing the sidewalks to thirteen (13) feet,
constructing new curbs and installing new lighting standards thereon, said lighting
standards to be installed under the Improvement Act of 1911 and assessed on the
abutting property, and the remainder o the work to be paid for out of the general
treasury.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify dhat the foregping Resolution was duly
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of April, 1928, by the following vote
to-wit:
AYES: douncilmen CAlcutt, Latham, Heiss, Noble an' President Otis, (5).
JCES: None.
