WHSRE1S, negotiations have recently been made with The Regents of
the University of lalifornia relative to the widening and improvement of
a portion of Webster Street, whereby the city has agreed to sell, and The
Regents of the University to buy, that certain pieoe or parcel of land known
at Tract 43, ',lemmas Marsh Lands, containing 5.76 acres, for the sum of
DIVE THOU'S= POLL= (E5000.00), AOW therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, thnt t mayor
be, and he is hereby authorized. to execute. a deed in the name of
the city to The Regents of the University of Celiforrhs, granting and
conveying said land to said university, and the city clerk is authorized
to attest the same; ann be 1 further
RESOLVED, that Resolution No. 1219 heretofore adopted, be and the
ssme is hereby rescinded.

was duly and regularly introduced and adontod by the council of the Sity
of Alameda in regular meeting assentalel on the 39 d day of May, 1922, by
