RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT
WHEREA3, the council of the city of Alameda has adw-ertised
for sealed bids or proposals for paving and otherwise improving e portion
of Webster 0treet in said City, a copy of which advertisemeat is anneAed
hereto nna made it part hereof,
AND WilEREAS, in pursuance of said advertisement, scaled
tido or proposals were received an the date specifipd therein, to-wit,
Tuesday, July 10, 1325, which sealed bids or proposals were duly considered.
by the cothncil, now therefore be it
REd3OL0ED, by the council of the city of Alameda that all of
said sealed bids or proposals except that next herein specified be and the
same are herety rejected end the contract 2or .doing sale' work and mein aid improveNent is hereby awarded to the lowest responsible bidder therefor,
to-wit: WARREN CONSTRUCTION OOMPANY, at the prices specified in his: bid
or ar000sni on file, and the mayor is hereby authorized. and directed to enter
into a contract with said successful bidder for doing said wprk and making
said improvement ana sign and eikeriute the same on behalf of said city.
Tia0CLVED, that certified checks of oil unsuccessful bidders
be returned to them forthwith.
