WHEREAS, applications have been made by the persons here-
inafter named tor a permit to sell non-intoxicating beverages, commonly
o1211 12 sofd drinks, in the sit of idameda, in accordance with the pro-
visions and requirements of Ordinwise 2o. Sot, 2.S., of said (city; now
therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the council of the city of :alameda, that a
permit be and it le hereby granted and a license is hereby authorized
to be issued under and in pursuance of the provisions of said ordinance
aathorizir the ale and dispensation of non-intoxicating Leverages, com-
monly called 2oft drinks, by the following pertons and at the following
places, to-wit;

RESOLVED, that the license collector be, and he is hereby
authorized and directed to issue a license to said persons under the pro-
visions of said ordinance upon the payment by said parties to said city of
Alameda of the lduense tax of 5.00 per year or fraction thereof, payable
in advance.
