RE JREDGING
WHEHEAS, by letter addressed to the City Manager under date
of June 28, 1928, from District Engineer Major E. H. Ropes, the ((ar deport-
ment is preparinF plans to dredge and provide greater channel width in the
Can Antonio Estuary; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the United States War Department be and it is
hereby authorized to dump dredged material from the channel at the western
end of hrooklyn Basin upon the city's tide arA submerged lands south of
the Alameda Role, and thet the city agrees to. construct 4111 maintain such
levees, bulkheads, drainage . canals, slizioeways and other structures re-
quired to retain the dredged material and protect the adjacent navigable
waters, when the same may become necessary.
