WHEREAS, the Building Inspector of the of Alameda found
the building or structure 1 at 1 Hawthorne Atreet to be so
dilapidated from old age and. neglect az to be a fire menace,. also a.

13, persons, whereemen he gave notice in the manner provided by
ordinence ND. 181, :dew Series, of sail city, dlrectiny the owner to.
appear before the city council Tuesday evening:, Cotober 16, 1928, and
show cause 'Shy said building should not be condemned as E. public nulsance
and abated as grovided by said, ordinance, and
WHEREAS, it appears that said noticewas duly 33r.6 giVen
by posting and mailing in the time, form and manner provided by s8id "
ordimaree, and the matter coming on regularly for hearing before the council,
and witnesses beiny sworn and testimony being given by theBuilding Inspector,
the owner and 33. competent persons respecting the condition 13 said
building, and the estimated coat of its reconstraction, repair or removal,
and the council having duly considered the vutter, How therefore, it is
hereby
REOTIVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said building
or structure be and the same ia hereby condemned as public nuisance, und
the owner thereof hmreby directed to abate said '1,'' 31 within thirty
