RESOLUTION ACCEPTANCE AND CONSENT TC RECORDATION.
RESOLVED, by the Counoil of the City of Alameda, that the deed
or grant conveying to the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, all
that certain real property situate in said city, County of Alameda, State
of California, and particularly described as follows;
BEGINNING at a point on the Northerly lino of Santa
Clara Avenue distant thereon Easterly 350 feet from the
intersection thereof, with the Easterly line of Chestnut
Street, aa said Avenue and Street now exist; and running
thence Easterly along said line of Santa Clara Avenue 50
feet; thence at right angles Northerly 207 feet 5 inches;
thence at right angles Westerly 50 feet; thence Southerly
207 feet 6 inches to the paint of beginning.
BEING a portion of Lot 8, in Blook 6, as said Lot and
Block are delineated and so designated upon that certain Mup
entitled, "Map of Lends adjacent to the Town of Encinal,
Alameda County, California," filed May 28, 1867, in Libor 19
of nape at page 53, in the office of the County Recorder of
Alameda County, state of California,
granted to said city for school purposes, be and the same is hereby accepted,
and said council, acting for and in behalf of said grantee, hereby consents
to the recordation of said deed or grant and orders this resolution to be
attached thereto as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda, in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of 37ebruary, 1929,
by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Calcutt, Latham, Neiss, Noble and President
Otis, (5).
NOES': None.
ABSENT: None.
