IN THE MATTER OT ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEUM
DISTRICT NO. 3 ON THE CITY C? ALAMEDA
APPOINTING AND 'EMPLOYING BURNETT HAMILTON ENGINSER OP vau.
3RNAS, public interest, convenience and necessity demand the
improvement of park Street, from the an Antonio Estuary to the northern
curb line of an Jose Avenue in the City of Alameda, and the council of
said city has decided to take oroceedlngs for making said improvement under
and pursuant to the provisions of the "Acquisition and Improvement Act of
1925", and
IHERNAs, it is desirable at this time to appoint an "Zngineer of
Work", es provided by seotion 3 of said ant, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, the Burnett
Nemtlton (a competent engineer), be and he is hereby appointed and employed
as "Engineer of Nark" for the purpose of doing and furnishing all the civil
engineering work and services, surveying and all similar work and services
necessary to the proper performance of said work and improvement, to-Wit:
That Park Street, from its northern termination at the san
Antonio Estuary to the northern curb line of San Jose Avenue, be
improved as follows:
That the roadway thereof he widened three and one-half (3)
feet on each side to the new curb lines, have eoncrete curbs',
gutters, ,gutter bridges end corrugated iron culverts constructed
thereon of the number, size and in the locations shown on the
plans and speeifications hereinafter referred to, and that the
sidewalks thereof be repaired; also that the roadway, where
widened, he paved with an asphaltic concrete pavement between
said estuary and the southern curb line of Encinal Avenue, and
an oil macadam pavement between said Nncinal Avenue and the
northern curb line of San Jose AVCRUO.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the-19th day of March, 1929, by the
following vote, to wit:
