TO TAM TWO ( 21 SUBMARINE 23 322 GABLES WITHIN THE
WATERFRONT MOUE OF THT CITY ?OR THE PURPOSE OF
TRANSMITTING ELECTRICAL maln- TO DO DREDGING NORM
FOR THE UNITED STATES COVERKMEIZT IN BROOKLYN BASIN.
2IE2KAS, the Board of pablic Utilities has recommended
that permission be granted to the American preder.ing Company to lay
two (2) submarine over Cables within the waterfront zone of the city
for the purpose of transmitting electrical energy to certain dredgers
of said company now engaged in ,dredging for the United States 3,overnment
at the western end of Brooklyn Basin on the terms end conditions set
forth inn letter to said board from the pacific Gas M Electric Company,
now therefore it is hereby
ISSOLvED, that the American Dredging Company be, and it is
hereby authorized to lay two (2) submarine Power Galles within the
waterfront 2one of the city for transmitting electrical energy for
dredging work for the United States Government at the western end of
Brooklyn Basin in the San Antonio 3stuary.
This nermission is hereby granted pursuant to the provisions
of ordinance 7o, 24, New series, of the City of Alameda, and shall extend
for the period covered by the present contract between said company and
the "nited States Government.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly rand regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the Ilty of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of March, 1929, by the
following vote, to wit:
