RATIEYING A CLAIM ..YOR ADVERTI5ING THE CITY.
AummF,A„ on June 19, 1929, the council paseed its Resolution
No. 1271 authorizing eh appropriation of 13520.00 for the publication and
distribution of folders for advertising the city in conjunction with the
county, and
NMER3AS, the 51.1M of ;9876.90 was afterwards expended far 6000
additional folders in the belief that the additional folders were desirable
ann that the action would be ratified by the council, and
VHEREAG, it appears that the additional expenditure of .676.00
was for a public purpose and warranted by public interest, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, thnt the expendi-
ture of 676.00 for additional folders in excess of the amount originally
appropriated be and tho same is hereby ratified, approved and confirmed, and
the claim thprefor is hereby ordered paid.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution.
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the Oitr of
Alameda, in regular meeting assembled on the 21st day of May, 1929, by the
following veto, to wit;
