Resolution 01384RESOLUTION NO. 348. RESOLUTION' OP INTENTION NO 91. New Series. (Washington Et.) RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the Council of the Git of Alameda to order the following work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, to- it: That 'Washington Street from the western property line of High Street to the western curb line of peach Street, be graded, and have concrete ourbs, gutters, gutter bridges and sidewalks constructed thereon; also that corrugated iron culverts be constructed therein; also thnt the roadway thereof be paved with a six-inch oiled macadam pavement. All of said work shall be done in accordance with the pleas, profiles, detailed drawings and specifications udopted therefor and now on file in the office of the City Clerk; also tor the grades to which the work is to be done. The City Council hereby determines that serial bonds shell be issued to represent unpaid assessments of twenty-five dollars or over in the manner and form provided by low. Cald bonds shall extend over the period of :line years from the second day of january next succeeding the fifteenth day of November following their date, and shun bear interest at the rate of seven (7) per cent per annum, payable semi- annually by coupon, on the second days of January and July, respectively, of each year after their date. NOTICE IC HEREBY GIVEN that on Tuesday, the 19th day of March, 1929, at 8 o'clock T.M., in the Council Chamber in the City Nall of said city, any and all persons having any objection to the proposed work or' improvement may make and file with the City Clerk written protests according to law, and appear before said council and show C41100 why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with said resolution. The clerk shall cause this Resolution of Intention to be published twice in the Alameda Times-3t5r, a daily newspaper published and circulated in said city and hereby designated for the purpose ofpublishing this resolution and all other notices and matters required to be published in connection with this proceeding. The street superintendent shall- cause to be conspicuously posted along the lire of said contemplated work and improvement end in front of all the property liable to be assessed, notices of the passage of this resolution in the manner and form required by law. The herein proposed work shall be lone in pursuance of an act of the legislature designated the "Improvement Act of 19114 approved April 7, 1911, and amendments thereto. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled an the 19th day of I'ebruary, 1929, by the following vote, to-wit: AYES: Councilmen Calcutt, Latham, Neiss, Noble and president Otio, (5).
