GRANTING APPLICATION TOR DREDGING ON PRORERTY
BETWEEN PARK AND REGENT STREETS.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that
the application of A. E. E J. Duchesnay, of 1519 :Enoinal Avenue,
this city, for filling in about 75,000 cubic yards of a selected
material by Suction Dredger upon a piece of property lying be-
tween Bark end Regert Streets und from By Island Avenue to
point about six hundred (500) feet southerly therefrom, the work
to he performed by Capt. L. H. Seek, of Cupuchino Manor, San Bruno,
California, said applicant having accompanied hi application by
a bond of :Rive Thousan4 Dollars, (5,000.00) as required under
Ordinance No. 91, N.C., which bond has been opprcved by the Oity
attorney, he and the same is hereby approved, and it is ordered
that permission be given to said applicant to proceed with the
work under and pursuant to said ordinance, providing that the said
A. S. J. Duchesnay shall erect a series of driven piles at inter-
vals of not more than fifty feet surrounding the hole from whicb
the material Le to be dredged, each. rile to have securely placed
upon it a sign warning bathers of the danger.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the
Council of the City of Alameda in ad,lourned regular meeting
assembled on the 23rd 'day of July, 1929, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Drodersen, 'Latham, Calcutt and President
Schaefer, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Henning, (1).
