RESOLUTION OM UMEHRATULATION TO HO' 3L
THOMAS L.EDISON
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alamein, as represent-
atives of the people of said city, that we take this opportunity of joining
with our fellow-citizens throughout the . country id celebrating the 7iftieth
Inniversary of thp Electric Light, and felicitating our beloved fellow-citizen
THOMAS EDISON on his long career of usefulness and service to the people
of ell the world.
RESOLVED, that we rejoice in the 1Tplendid genius of THOMAS
A. EDISON and his many great inventions which have contributed so much to
our comfort, convenience and pleasure. All honor to the man who has devoted
his whole lhfe to the service of hie fellowmen: We rejoice in the opportunity
to thank him in this feeble- way, and Go want him to know that 'a*N/ OF; here
on the Pacific Coast, the people join with their fellow-citizene throughOut
the land in sending his their most hearty congratulations and felicitations.
