DENIORING BUILDINGS OM 1562 LIDDELL AVENUE
TO BE A TOBIN NUIBaNNEN
WHEREAS, the BoilEing Lampe etor of the Nits of Afaxmda found the
buildings or structures located at 1542 Lincoln Avenue to be so dilapidated.
from old nge and nemlect as to be a fire menace, also a breeding place for
rodents and likely resort for Vagrant or dissolute persons, tchercupon•he
gave notice in. the manner provided by Ordinance No. 181, New Series, of safd
city, directing the owner to opmaar before the Gity Council Tuesday evening,
March Cm 1930, and shomeause why said buildings should not be condemned as
a public nuisance and abietee as '0 111:611: by said ordinance, and
WagROAS, it apahars that said notice was duly and regularly given
by posting and moiling in. the time, form and mhnner provided by said ordinanae,
and the matter coming on regularly' for hearing before the Council, and witnes-
ses being sworn und testimony being given. 52 the 5' di Ihspector, sad owner
and other cothiatent persons respecting the condition of seid buildings, and
the estimated cost of their reconstruction, repair or removal, and the Council
having duly considered the matter, now, therefore, it is hereby
RESOLVED, by the Council of the Nity of Alons that said buildings
or stroctores be and the sams are hereby condemned. as o 3L730 '6, and
the owner thereof is hereby directed to abate sold nuisance w4thin thirty Ch:ys
from the date of the ressat-e of thie resolution, by having said buildings or
etructsres properly reconstructed or repaired, or by herviog the same razed or
emoved, otherwise the same will be razed or removed by the Building Inspector
and the expense thereof made a lien on the lot or parcel of land upon whiah
the same are located.
The Building Inspector shall poet and mahl a. copy of this 1073
as provided bw said ordinaane.
