Resolution 01489RESOLUTION' NO. 1 489 IN THE MATTER OF THE ACQUISITION AND IEI•R T DISTRICT NO. 3 OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. RESOLUTION OF AWARD (Park Street). WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda did, in open session, on the 18th day of Maroh, 1930, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution of Intention No. 95, N.S., of said city of which the following is a printed dopy: RESOLUTION OF INTENTION No. 95. N. S. RESOLVED AND DETERMINED, by the Council of the City of Alameda that publio interest and necessity require the improvements hereinafter set forth and it is the intention of said council to order the following described work to be done and improvements to be made on those certain publio ways in said city, described as follows, to -wit: That Park Street, from its northern termination at the San Antonio Estuary to the northern ourb line of San Jose Avenue, be improved'as follows: That the roadway thereof be widened three and one -half (3 *) feet on each side to the new curb lines, have concrete curbs, gutters, gutter bridges and corrugated iron culverts constructed thereon of the number, size and in the locations shown on the plans and specifications hereinafter referred to, and that the sidewalks thereof be repaired; also that the road , where widened, be paved with an asphaltic concrete pavement between said estuary and the southern curb line of Ermine' Avenue, and an oil macadam pavement between said Enoinal Avenue and the northern ourb line of San Jose Avenue. All of said work and improvements shall be done in accord- ance with the plans, profiles, detail drawings and specifications therefor whioh have been approved by said council and are now on file in the offioe of the clerk thereof, reference to which 1s hereby made for the estimated cost of the improvement (inclusive of inci- dental expenses and costs of the proceeding), for a full and de- tailed description and location of said proposed improvements and of the grades to whioh said improvements are to be con struoted. The notice of all persons affected is directed to the grades for the proposed improvement and to the provisions of the "Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925 ", relating to grades. The district of lands to be benefited by said proposed improvement is hereby described as follows: All the paroele or tracts of land situate, lying and being within the corporate limits of the City of Alameda, according to the map thereof approved by the council and now on file with the ole rk. Excepting from said district all public ways and all lands belonging to the United States and the State of California. In the jut roent of the city council, there will be no varying benefits to be derived by the different parcels of land lying within the assessment district, as a consequence the district has not been divided into zones. RESOLUTION NO. 1 TRANSFERRING $12,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE SCHOOL GENERAL FUND RESOL @ED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that there be and there is hereby transferred from the General Fund to the School General Fund, the sum of Twelve Thousand and 00/100 Dol $12,000.00), e of the t+ rd of Education, said amount to be returned to the Electric Light Fund in November of this year. The Auditor and the Treasurer are hereby authorized to make said transfer upon their respeotive books. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduoed and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 18th day of Maroh, 1930, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: Councilmen Hrodersen, Oaloutt, Henning, Latham and President Schaefer, NOES: None.
