Resolution 01491RESOLUTION NO. 14 DECLARING THAT ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA SHALL BE AMERICAN CITIZENS AND SHALL LIVE OR HAVE AN ESTABLISHED RESIDENCE THEREIN. 7JHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda is of the opinion that it in for the beet interet and welfare of said city that all employees of said City shall be American citizens and shall live or have an established residence therein, now, there- fore, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda that all employees of said city shall be American oitizene and shall live or have an established residence therein, save and ex- cept, however, any employee or employees who ehall be hired or engaged in an expert or advisory capacity for a limited period of time. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provision herein that all employeea of said city shall live or have an established residency therein shall be effective July 1, 1930. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution wan duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting aseembled on the let day of April, 1930, by the following vote, to -wit: AYES: Couneilmen Brodereen, Celoutt, Henning, Latham and President Schaefer, (5).
