WUKREAS, the Council of the City uf Alameda finds it necessary,
for public ssfety and convenience, tc 3,3113C to be placed and maintained on
Webster Street from the Se'gregation Line to P03%-% Tube twenty (20) 7NO
PARKING" signe, ten (10) to be placed orrench side of said Webster Street
between said boundaries; new, therefore,
B0 IT RESOLVED by the Gouncil of the City of .e.lamods, in accord-
ance with Section 3 of Orainanen No. 357 N. 5., commonly known as the
711niform Traffic Ordinrace," that the Chief o' Police be, and he io hereby
authorised send direeted to place and meintain twenty (20) "NO PARKINC7 signs
on Webster Street from the Segregation line to i'osey Tube, ten (10) of uaid
signs to be placed ond maintained on each side 62 sadd Webster Street be-
tween said boundaries, containing tha words "NO PARKING", cu wagdu to that
effect, in dark blue or black letters of not loss than one and one-half
(1) inches in height, on a yellow field.
I, the endersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in rIgular meeting aseembled on the 19tn day of ii-oest, 1950,
by the following 'vote, to-wit:
YES: Councilmen Brodersen, Caieutt, Henning, Latham and ii-'02-
taent Schaefer, (5).
NOES: None.
