Resolution 01554RESOLUTION NO. 1554 RESOLUTION OP INTENTION NO. 96 New Series (Third Street) RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alemede, that it is the intention of said Council to order the following work to be done and improvement made in said city, to wit: That Third Street, from the northerly line of Pacific Avenue to thn northerly line of Maple Street, be improved 99 follows: That said street, within the limits aforementioned, be graded, and have concrete curbs, gutters, gutter bridges end sidewalks constructed thereon; also that corrugated iron culverts be conetructed therein of the number, size and location shown on the plans hereinafter referred to; also that the roadway of said street, within the limits abrementioned, be paved with a six-inch oil macedam pavement. All of eeid work shell be done in accordanoe with the plans, profiles, detailed drawings and specitioations adopted therefor, referenoe to which is hereby made for the full and deteiled description of the seid proposed work and improvement, and the grades to which said work is to be done. The City Council hereby determines and dealores, and notice is hereby given, that serial bonds shall be issued to repre sent each assessment of twenty-five dollars or more remaining unpaid for thirty days after the date of the warrant. Said bonds shell bear interest at he rate of seven (7) per cent per annum, end shall extend over a period not to exceed nine years from the second day of January next succeeding the fifteenth day of the next November following their date. ' Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, the 2nd day of December, 1930, at the hour of 9:00 o'clock P.M., of said day, in the Council Chamber in the Gity Hall of said City, is the day, hour and place when end where any and all persons having ancy objections to the proposed work and improvement, or to the proposed grades, may appear before the City Council and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this resolution; provided said objections are made and filed in writing as required by law.' The City Clerk ehall publish this resolution, and the Street Superintendent shall post notices of the peseege thereof in the time, form and manner required by law. Said work shall be done and bond e issued in accordance with the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911" and amendments thereto. I, the undersigned, hereby certify thet the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular-meeting assembled on the 5th day of November, 1930, by the following vote, to wit: AVM: Councilmen Brodersen, Calcutt, Henning, Latham and Pres- ident Schaefer, (5).
