WHEREAS, an application has been made by the person herein-
after named for a permit to sell non-intoxioating beverages, commonly
culled soft drinXs, in the city of Alameda, in accordance with the prot.
visions end reealrements of Ordinance No. 262, N.S., of soid city,
now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that a per-
mit be and it is hereby granted and a license is hereby authorized
to be issued under and in pursuance of the provisions of said or-
dinance authorizing the sale and diseensation of non-intoxicating bev-
erages, commonly called soft drinks, by the following person and at
the following place, to wit:

RESOLVED, that the license collector be, and he la hereby
authorized and directed to issue license to said persons under the pro-
visions of staid ordinance upon the payment by said parties to said
city of Alameda of the license tax of $5.00 per year or fraction
thereof, payable in advance.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of
November, 1930, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Brodersen, Calcutt, Henning, 'Latham and
President Schaefer, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
