BE USED ET DEFRAYING ALL EZi'E7S72 07 A SPECIAL
ELECTION.
WHEREAS, The Oakland Bank, Trust Department, has set aside, in
escrow, the sum of 2our ThoLuand Dollars 04,000) as a funa to be used in
cieraying 911 exi.enses to the City of Alameda of a special election to be held
Juno 23, 1931, concernins the zone classification for industrial purposes of
14.35 acres of land lying between Fernside Boulevard and the Tidal (2nal and
easterly of Versailles Avenue; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said sun
of our Thousand Dollars (i4,000), or whatever sum may be used thereof to pay
211 costs of said election be accevted, end that said eon of our Thousand
Dollars 4,000) be raid to the City Treasurer of Alameda, and deposited in a
"Special Election Fund", upon the calling of the said special election by the said
City Council, and in the event that any surplus exists after all costs of said
election have been raid, said surplus Shall be returned to the sid The Oakland
Bank.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution vas
duly and regularly introduced aild adopted by the Council of theCity of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of May, 1931, by Inc following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen brodorsen, Leydecker, linrrey, Schaefer and President
Hennin,g, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
