RESOLUTION OT ACCE2A0CE AND CONSENT TO RESORDjeTION
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that the deed or grant,
executed by The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University, con-
veying to the City of Alameda, a municipal Corporation, a strip of lend moross the
premises of snid The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University
eiteate in said City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and bounded
fina deecribed Uo f011OWS:
BESINNING at a point on the Westerly line of
Versailles Avenue distont thereon 200 feet
Northerly from the intersection thereof with
the Northerly line of Bay Island Avenue as
said Avenues are designated end 30 delineated
upon that certain map entitled "Plat of tin
Lewelling Division, Alemeda" filed October 18,
1887, in fiber 19 of Maps, page 67, in the
office of the County Recorder of Alameda County,
California; running thence Northerly along
said line of Veroailles Avenue 12.2 feet; then at a right engle, Westerly 281 feet to the Easter-
ly line of Pearl Street; thence Southerly along
said line of Pearl Street 12.2 feet; thence
at a right angle Eaeterly 281 feet to the
Westerly line of Versailles Avenue and the Point
of beginning. Being a portion of lots Numbered
9 and 10 in Block "F",
acquired by said City for street purposes, be, and the :SEMe is hereby, accepted
and said Connell, acting for and'iiii:ehelf of said grantee, hereby consents to the
recordation of said deed or grant, and orders this resolution to be attached theroto,
95 required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Reeolution vas Li111,Z,
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alareeds in regular
meeting assembled on the 21st day of July, 1931,' by the following vote, to wit:
AYES; Councilmen Brodersen, Leydecker, Schaefer and President :Henning, (4).

ABSENT: Counoilman Murray, (1).
