RESOLUTION REONPRING ONDEDT OF 1111'.'. 01
WHEREAS, a general mmnicipal election was held in. the
City of Alameda on Tuesday, Morph 14, 1933, under anti pursuant
to the orovICions of Article XI of th8 Charter of said city, to
fill the offices of councilmen held by Charles B. Morris,
Jtames M. Shandy and 3 3 u0 7, Schaefer, respectively; also for
uditor, to fill the o 110W held by F. J. croll; also for
Treasurer, to fill the office nou held by Homer H. Dallas, all
of whose terms expire on April 17, 1033; 1111,
WHEREAS, nominating petitions were duly filed and
presented to the City Clerk in the, time, form and manner pre-
scribed by Sections 5 prd. 8 of said Article XI, nominating for
said offices the pnrsons whose names Pre bereincfter set forth;
and,
WhialREAS, arid nominations were entered in a list, with
the offices to be filled, which li7t ViT1F certified to in tre
tian, form and marner recnired by Section 8 of Article XI, where-
upon an election proclamation, stating the time of the gleeHien,
the offices to be-filled, and the names of the candidates, signed
by the haver and attested by the City Clerk, was duly and
regularly published, more than. tan days before said election,
three times in the ALAMEDA TIF12-STR, the official paper of
said city; and,
WHEREAS, all the ballots used for said election were
prepared and arranged as to form and contents as provided in.
Section (J of said ARTICLE XI, a sample ballot being mailed to
each registered voter on. or before March 4t11, 19.53, being
nare than ten days preceding said election, together with a copy
of the question net herein stated; and,
WHERES, one question was submitted to the electors to
be voted. upon at said electing, which was set forth in e
separate column on 3' right side of said. ballot in words and
figuxes as follows:

WHEREA3, there were siatty-four (64) election precincts
providing for holdng and conducting said general municipal
election, said precincts being the same as those provided by the
Board cf Supervioors of Alaeda County for holdi state and
county elections; and,
WHEREAS, the otficers appointed to conBuct said election
were duly appointed and qualified, ara ell election supplies
furnished arP1 election booths provided for each precinct as
required by law; and,
UEEHDAS, said general municipal election .was held and
conducted, and tne Votes cast thereat received anA canvassed and
the returns thereof ascertuined, determined 2nd declared in
the time, form and manner provided by law; and,
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda, at this,
its next regular meeting following said election,having met and
canvassed the returns of the votes cast thereat; now, therefore,
IT 1. HEREBY RESOLVED, determined and declared, and said
Council finds as follows:
1. That said election in all respects and particulars
was held and conducted in time, form and manner Provided by
law and the charter of said city;
2. at the vote cast in the different precincts through-
out thu city for all the candidates, and alsG on said duestion,
