RESOLUTION SRILESSING AFDREOIATION TO TEE LEGISLATURE OF
CALIFORNIA FOR PASSING ASSEMBLY' BIEL 1114 PERRaTTING THE
ESPEESIION GE' A REGIONAL PARK DWSTRICT; AND REDDESTING TEE
GOVERNOR OF CALIFSANIA TO APPROVE TEE WEE.
WHEREAS, the TagiolatuTe of the State of slifcincia has adopted. an act
which will enable the peoples of the at Day Municipa tllit istrict,
or a part thereof, to form a Regaanal. Park District, with authority' to lease,
purchase, or otherwise acquire and take over from the East Pay MUniclapal
Utility Distriet, and hold portions of said lands for park purposes in order
that such lands may be available for public use and enjoyment, and also to
provide authority for the securing of a public vote- for the formation of such.
Regional Park District, and
WHEREAS, it is expedient that action. be taken forthwith in order to pro-
vide work for tEs unemployed, to provide public imprevewents, and to aid the
national recovery.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT REDONVIAD that the Council of the. it of Alameda, duly'
