RESOLUTION THAT RAILROAD conassIoN OF THE STATE OF CALIF-
ORNIA BE REqUESTED TO BRING CERTAIN ANALYSIS UP TO TEE DATE
OF DECEMBER 31, 1933.
HEREAS, there has been considerable agitation in the City of Alameda
by citizens and civic organizations for more adequate and cheaper transpor-
tation; and,
WHEREAS, a survey or analysis of past and existing financial conditions
of Key System Transit Company and the Southern Pacific Company, Transbay
Electric Surburban Service, is necessary in order that this problem may have
intelligent consideration; and,
WHEREAS, the Railroad Commission of the State of California is equipped
for making such survey or analysis and represents impartially the whole
people of the State of California; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the Railroad
Commission of the State of California be requested to bring the folloting
analysis up to the date of December 31, 1933:
Analysis of past and existing financial and
physical conditions of the Key System Transit
Company, including estimate of results of
operation for year 1927;
Analysis of past and existing financial and
physical conditions of the Southern Pacific'
Company, Transbay Electric 3urburban Service,
including estimate of results of operation for
year 1927.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduaed and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 2nd day of January, 1934, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Druzzone, Eschen, Leydecker, Morris and
President Murray, (5).
Nogs: None,
ABSENT: None,
