DESIGNATING, ESTABLISHIHO AND APPOINTING ELECTION
PAECINGTS, (L 18 PLACES, VOTING BOOTHS AND OFEICERS
CI ELHOTIaN FOR GENERAL AMU SPECIAL MUNICIPAL BLECTION
TO BE HELD NOVEMEER 6, 1934.
WHEREAS by virtue of the provisions of Article XI of the Charter of the City
of Alameda, and of Resolution. 80. 1676, heretofore duly passed by this council, a.
general municipal election has been called and ordered to be held in the City of
Alameda on Tuesday, November 6, 1934, and
WHEREAS b resolution hb. 1376 a special election was called and ordered to
be held in the City of Alameda an Tuesday, November 6, 1034, for the purpose of
submitting to the maalified electors of said city certain proposals for amending
the Charter of said city, and.
WHEREAS the City Council did, by resolutions nimbered 1869 and 187b, hereto-
fore duly passed, order the consolidation of said goneral municipal election and
said special municipal election with the general state: election. to be Meld an
Tuesday, November 6, 1934, in the same territory as said general municipal el-
ection and said special municipal. election.
MOW THEREFORE, BE IT P2SOLVED BY THE COITNCIL OF THE CITIOT ALAMEDA that the
election precincts, polling places, voting booths, and the officers of election,
designated, established and appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Alameda for the purpose of conducting said general state election within said City,
in the proceedings of, and by motion duly passed by, said Board of rvisors
on the 4th day of October, 1934, as shown by the minutes of said Board of Super-
Visors of October 4, 1934, shall be, and are hereby deeignated, established and
appointed as the election precincts, polling places, voting booths and election
officers respectively, to conduct said general municipal election and said spec-
ial municipal election. in said City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify' that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
re4l.1./arly introduced and adopted by the Council_ of the City of Alameda in adjourned
regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of October, 1934, by the following vote,
