Resolution 01949RESOLUTION NO. 1949. ASSIGNING $737.83 TO TEE DEPARTMaTT OF PUBLIC UTILITIES AND REFUNDING 0621.01 TO SMITH LUMBER COMPANY. WHEREAS, the Smith Lumber Company, on December 27, 1934, deposited with the Treasurer of the City of Alameda $1358.84 to guarantee payment of the construction and installation of lighting standards on Roosevelt Drive and Park Avenue, in accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 1885; and, WHEREAS, said work of construction and installation has been completed by the Department of Public Utilities at a cost of $737.83, leaving a bal- ance of $621.01 in excess of the amount needed to pay for said improvement; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED that said surplus of 621.01 be, and the same is hereby, ordered refunded to the Smith Lumber Company, and that the balance of $737.83 be, and the same is hereby, ordered transferred to the credit of the Department of Public Utilities. RESOLVED that the financial officers of the city handling said deposit be, and they are hereby directed to make the necessary transfers on their respective books. * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introdiced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of May, 1935, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Eschen, Morris, Munro mid President Roabke, (4).
