CANCELLING CERTAIH WAPRANTS AND INTEREST COUPONS.
WHEREAS, there have been outstanding, for an unreasonable length of time,
the following warrants, to wit:
No. 5418, issued February 28, 1934, for 43.75, for driving a float in a
parade;
No. 2780, issued November 7, 1934, for $ .34, a refund on personal property
tax;
No. 594, issued July 18, 1933, for $6.00, for shrubs for the Golf Course;
No. 4502, issued January 2, 1934, for ..34, for carbon paper mislaid
after receipt;
Also outstanding for an unreasonable length of time the following bond
interest coupons:
Bond Interest coupon of issue No. 5, one coupon, 12.32, aaid bond having
been redeemed;
Bond Int erest coupon of issue No. 6, six coupons, $93.81, said bonds
having been redeemed;
WHEREAS, there is no probability of said warrants or interest coupons being
presented for payment, therefore,. be it
RESOLVED, that said warrants and interest coupons be, and they are hereby
ordered cancelled, and the Auditor is instructed to make the necessary cancel-
lation enteriea on his booke.
RESOLVED further that the money represented by said warrants and bond
interest coupons be, and the same is hereby ordered transferred to the General
Fund, from which fund said warrants: and interest coupons may later be paid, if
and when the same are presented.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of June, 1935, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2).
IN WITNESS, WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
seal of said City this 20th day of June, 1935.
