BE IT RESOLVED by the Oounoil of the City of Alameda as follolsar
Section Ono_ That Wm. J. Locke, City Attorney, Cuolzu E. Sperbeck, City Engin,
eer3 and Fred J. Croll, City Auditor, he, and they are hereby, authorized to execute
and file an application, on behalf of the City of Alameda, to the United States of
America, for a. loan and grant to aid in financing the construction of a sub-aqueous
single track electric railway tunnel under and across the San Antonio Estuary, running
from the Alameda side near the, eastern boundary LO the Alameda Airport; with a- single
track electric railway running northerly to the existing tracks on SeTenth Street,
in the City of Oakland.
Section Two. That Wm. J. Locke, Oity Attorney, George E. Sperbeck, City
ngineer, a'nA. Fred J. Croll, City Auditor, be, and they are hereby authorized and
directed to furnish such information as the United Gtates of Adderice, through the
Federal Fmterganey Administration of Public Works, may reasonably request in oonnec-
tion with the application which is herein. authorized to be filed.
