public interest and heceswity of said City and its imhabitenta demand the actwe
uisition. chns traction end completion of the following wuniwipal improvemente,
to wit:
(11 The construction of a sub-aqueous oihale
trawl:: electric railway tunnel undar anil across
the San Antonio Testae:ay, running from the
Alameda. side near the eastern boundary of
Alameda Airport; with a singlo track electric
railway runninE northerly to the existinj
traeks on Seventh Street in the Ci ty of
Gotland; also
(2) The construction of an aquatic poric and
Yacht harbor', to be owthed aad operated by aaid
Cityl-
NTD AND DETFINTIZED further, that the coat of the acquisition, em-
end completion o swid municipal impronements, either individually or
colleetively, would be too, great to be. paid out of the ordinary annual income
end revenue of said City, wherefore lit is the intention of the City Council of
said City to call an election and submit to the qualified voters: of said City
propositlono for the issuance and sale of revenue bonds of said City, whdch,
together with additional sums to be applied for as grants frog the Federal
EMT gene y Administration of Public Narks, will be sufficient to pay the cost
thereof.
I, the undareigned, hereby certify that tae foreeoing Resolution was duly
and re',;ularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 24id day of July, 1135, by the following, vote,
