Resolution 01980atSOL"JTIOM NO. 1980, GRVTING BIJNKFEAD EAGV.T TO THE 'UNITED .32ATES OF A' ERICA. VillEREAS, the Unit d States of America, through its Department of Agriculture, has requested from the City of Alameda the Grant of an easement thirty (30) feet in width, extending easterly shad westerly along and immediately adjacent to the southern boundary of that fifteen (15) acre tract of land deeded by the City to the United States of America under date of November 10: 1930, for the purpose of constructing a bulkhead, dock and retaining wall; Also an easemeat for a retaining wall, extending from the southeasterly corner of the aforodesaribed thirty (30) feet strip, and running easterly along a pro longatiou o1 the southerly line of said strip a distance of 76.22 feet, more or less, to a point, thence north 83 deg. 7 min. Bast 245 feet, more Or less to a point; and, TEIEREA,S, public interest and convenience deTand the granting of said easements; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said easements be, and the same are hereby' granted to the United States of America in accordance with said re, quest, and that the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute the necessary deed therefor on behalf of the City, and the City Clerk be, and he is hereby, instructed to attest the camel provided that all spoil or dredged material removed from the southern side of said bulkhead be deposited on the following des- cribed property; Lots, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, 35, 36 and a portion of 10, as such lots are shown and so delineated upon that certain map entitled "Map of Town of Alameda and Adjacent Lands", filed in the Recorder's Office, County of Alameda, State of Calif- ornia, dept. 12, 1867, Book 5, Page 16. Also on the Duchasney property at the foot of Park Street; provided further that the owners of the aforedescribed property consent thereto. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 20th day' of August, 1955, by the following vote, to wit: AYES:: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
