RESOLUTION OF INTENTION
(Closing Ybrtion or Eagle Avenue)
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that, pursuant to the re-Quire--
ment of public interest and convenience, it is the intention of said Council to
order the closing up of Eagle Avenue in said City, from the eastern line of
Sherman 31reet, easterly one hundred and fifty (150) feet, more or less, to the
termination cf said Eagle Avenue.
That no lands 'will be necesaery to be taken therefor, and that the exterior
boundaries of the district of lands to be affected end benefited by said
improvement are the corporate boundaries of the City of Alameda, and that no
lands will be assessed to pay the damages', costs and expenses of said improvement.
The Street Superintendent shall cause to be cohspicmously posted along the
line of said contemplated improvement, notices of the passage of this resolution,
in time, form and manner required by law. He shall also cause
in substance, to be published for a period of ten (10) days in
JTAR, a daily newspapar published and circulated in said OitY,
designated by said City Council for that purpose.
Any person interested objecting to said improvement, or to the extent of the
district of lands to be affected or benefited thereby, may make written objections
to the same within ten (10) days after the expiration of the time of the publica-
tion of said notice, and deliver said objections to the Clerk of the City
Council, as provided by law.
