REQUESTING CANCELLATION OF TAXES DUE EHE LOT PURCHASED
FOR PUBLIC IBRAHT.
WHEREAS, the City of Alarieda, on behalf of the Board of Library Trustees,
is surceasing for a branch public, library all that let or parcel ef land situated in.
the City of Alameda, County. of Alameda, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Beginning at the point of intersectibn of the Southern line
of Santa Clara Avenue., as said -avenue exists since the widening
to ec feet, with the western line of 3th Street, forubrly
Rrosbect Street; running thence Southerly along sale line of
6th Street, 50 feet, 82 inches; thence at right angles Westerly
98 feet, e inches; thence at right enEles Northerly 58. feet,
and 32- inches to said Southern_ line of Santa Clara Avenue;
thence Easterly along said last named line 08 feet, 0 inchea
to the pirit of beginning.
Now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors and County Assessor of the
County of Alaneda be, and they are hereby, requested to cancel all taxes due on
said property.
