ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR BRANCH PUBLIC LIBRARY
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that the plans and specifications
for the construction of the branch public Library proposed to be located on the south-
west corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Eighth Street in said City, and as prepared and
submitted by Mr. Carl Werner, the duly and regularly employed architect for that
purpose, be, and the same are hereby, adopted, provided that the City shall not adver-
tise for construction, material, or equipment contracts, nor undertake any of the work
on the project until the proposed contracts and said plans and specifications be
submitted to and approved by the State Director of the Federal Emergency Administra-
tion of Public Works.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in special
meeting assembled on the 13th dry of November, 1935, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Esehen, Morris, Munro and President Rcehke, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None,
