Resolution 02040RESOLUTION NO, 2040 IN RE LAND ACQUIRED FOR BRANCH PUBLIC LIBRARY RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that the land acquired. November 2, 1935, upon which the Branch Public Library building is being constructed, is situate in the City of Alameda, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: All of that certain lot located on the southwest corner of Eighth Street and Santa Clara Avenue; fronting approximately 58.71 feet on Eighth Street and 98.50 feet on Santa Clara Avenue. RESOLVED, that the price paid for said land was Four Thousand Dollars ($4000), and that such price represents the true and reasonable value of said land as determined by the appraisal thereof made by our City Assessor, which appraisal was relied upon by the City Council in fixing the reasonable value of the property. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing, Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of March, 1036, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke, (5).
