BRANCH LIBRARY BUILDING FROM FEDERAL EMERGENCY ADMIN-
ISTRATION OF PUBLIC WORKS
RESOLUTION NO. 2041
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that the City Attorns,
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to make an application to the
Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for an advance payment of 25%
of the total cost of branch public library building now under construction at the
corner of Eighth Street and Senta Clara Avenue, in the City of Alameda, and that
the officials of the P.W.A. be, and they are hereby, requested to transmit the
forms necessary for making said application.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of March, 1936, by
the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2 ) .
