CANCELLING TAXES ON REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED OR
ABOUT TO BE ACQUIRED IN THE NAME OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, six parcels of land were recently purchased in the name of
the City of Alameda by the Board of Public Utilities Commissioners, and another
parcel is in the process of being acquired by the Council for a public park,
all of said parcels of property being described on the tax bills as follows:

WHEREAS, said parcels of real property will no longer be subject to
taxation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that all taxes due
and payable on said parcels of property be, and the same are hereby, cancelled;
and the Assessor and Tax Collector are hereby directed to make the necessary
record thereof on their respective books.
RESOLVED, further, that a certified copy of this resolution be sent to
the Assessor and the Tax Collector of Alameda County.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of May, 1936, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Mol.ris, (2).
