Resolution 02058RESOLUTION NO. 2058 DESIGNATING "THE ALAMEDA JOURNAL" OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF T1 CITY OF ALAMEDA WHEREAS, R. L. Brock, editor of The Alameda Journal, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in the City of Alameda, State of Calirornia, has been awarded a contract for printing and publishing ordinances, resolutions and such legal notices as are required by law to be published; and, SHEREAS, Article II, section 18 of the city charter provides that "the council shall annually designate" the official newspaper; now therefore, be it RESOLVED that Ti E ALAMEDA JOURNAL be, and it is hereby designated the official newspaper of the City of Alameda for the ensuing year and until its successor is appointed aud designated. * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 9th day of June, 1936, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (5). NOES: None, ABSENT: Councilmen Eschen and Morris, (2). IN STLTNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal of said City this 10th day of June, 1936. (SEAL) LOREME E.
