RE APPLICATION FOR ADVANCE PAYMENT OF TOTAL COST OF BRANCH

OF PUBLIC WORKS.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that the City
Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to make an application
to the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for an advance payMent
of 10% of the total cost of branch public library building now under construction
at the corner of Eighth Street and Santa Clara Avenue, in the City of Alameda,
and that the officials of the P. W. A. be, and they are hereby, requested to
transmit the forms necessary for making said application.
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 9th day of June, 1936, by the
following vote, to wit:
LYEM Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: Chuncilmon Eschen and Morris, (2).
