AWARDING CONTRACT RE MAITLAND DRIVE.
REEREAS, the Counoil of the City of Alameda in response to advertisement
and notice has received bids for the improvement of Maitland Drive in said city; and,
WHEREAS, the bid submitted by Heafey-Moore., is the lowest and best bid
for doing said work, and the Department of Highways has concurred in the award of the
contract to said company; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the contract for doing said work be, and the same is hereby,
awarded to Heafey-Moore Co., at the unit prices specified in its bid, amounting,
according to said prices and the esti
e of quanitites, to $24,211.60; and the Mayor
is hereby authorized to enter into a contract accordingly with said Heafey-Moore
Co., for and in the name of the city.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of July, 1936, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke,(5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official
