RE FUNDS FOR THE BRNOH PUBLIC LIBRARY
RESOLVED by the Councilor the City of Alameda that the respective
amounts heretofore allotted for certain purposes in the work of constructing the
branch public library on the southwest corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Eighth
Street in said city, be changed as follows:
That the amount allotted for preliminary expenees be increased 4279.99;
That the amount allotted for land be increased 'e5.00;
That the amount allotted for the grantee's inspector be increased 4165.00;
That the amount allotted for interest be decreased 0160.00;
That the amount allotted for miscellaneous expenses be increased 0460.00.
That said allotments are being changed pursuant to the regulations and
requirements of the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works, and on the
understanding that there are ample funds on hand to make said changes.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to send three copies hereof to the Fed-
eral Emergency Administration of Public Works; and the City Attorney is directed to
ask the State Director to make a change order accordingly.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of July, 1936, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Eschen, Morris, Munro and President Roebke,(5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
