Resolution 02072RESOLUTION NO. 2072 AUTHORIZING DEFENSE OF ACTIONS RESOLVED, that the City Attorney, Wm. J. Lucke, and his special assistant, Frank W. Creely, be and they are hereby authorized and empowered to defend those certain actions, as follows: No. 10282, entitled A. W. Porter, et al, v. Sherman G. Blood as City Clerk of the City of Alameda, now pending in the District Court of Appeals, and NO. 10283, entitled Norman C. Bates, et al, v. Sherman G. Blood as Gity Clerk of the City of Alameda, now pending in the District Court of Appeals. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 7th day of July, 1936, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Broyles, Munro and President Roebke, (3).
