AMENDING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE RE BRANCH PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, a branch public library building was constructed by the City
of Alameda, and the same was financed by a grant of 45% of the cost thereof by
the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works; and
WHEREAS, the City, pursuant to the requirements of said Federal
Emergency Administration of Public Works, did adopt a prevailing wage scale; and,
WHEREAS, said wage scale did not include the following crafts and rates
of wages, to wit, Sheet Metal Helper, 4.62,1- per hour, and Decorator (Painter),
i1.25 per hour; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that the prevailing wage
scale as heretofore adopted be, and the same is hereby emended, aunt pro tune,
by the addition of the following crafts and rates of wages, to wit:
Sheet Metal Helper . . . . 4 .62i per hour
Decorator (Painter) . . . . 1.25 per hour.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the let day of September,
1936, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, Morris and Weichhart, and Acting President
Eschen, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
