AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ACTING CITY MANAGER TO MAKE APPLICATION
TO THE WORKS PROGRESS ADMINISTRATION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR
EMERGENCY PROJECTS UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
RESOLVED; by the Council of the City of Alameda; that Chas. R. Schwanen-
berg, Acting City Manager of the City of Alameda, be, and he is hereby authorized
and directed to make applications to the Works Progress Administration of the
State of California for relief workers, and certain materials, equipment and supplies
to be used for emergency relief projects for the benefit and under the control of
the City of Alameda, and that he be and is hereby authorized and empowered to sign
and file applications for such projects with the Works Progress Administration of
the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly iatroduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in.
adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 1st day of September, 1936, by the
following vote, to wit:
