AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
APPLICATION TO THE WORKS PROGRESS 'ADMINISTRATION OF
THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR EMERGENCY PROJECTS UNDER
TIE CONTROL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that Chas. R. Schwanenberg,
City Manager of the City of Alameda, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
make applications to the Works Progress Administration of the State of California for
relief workers, and certain materials, equipment and supplies to be used for emergency
relief projects for the benefit and under the control of the City of Alameda, and that
he be and is hereby authorized and empowered to sicn and file applications for such
projects with the Works Progress Administration of the State of California.
I, the undersignad, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourn-
ed regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of September, 1936, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, Morris, Weichhart and President Eschen, (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
