FIXING. THE RATE AND LEVYING A TAX ON ALL REAL
AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1936,-1937, AND APPORTIONING
THE SAME AMONG THE SEVERAL FUHDS OF THE CITY'.
RESOLVED that the rate of city taxes to be levied for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1936 and ending June 30, 1937., upon all property assessed for
taxation within the corporate limits of the City of Alameda on the basis of the
valuation thereof as shown by the assessMent roll in the office of the City
Assessor of said City be, and the sane As, hereby fixed at one hundred and fifty-
eight cents (158c) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of assessed valuation of
said property; and
BE IT EUT=ER RESOLVED that a tax in the total amount of One and 58/100
Dollars .(01.58) be, and the same is, hereby fixed and levied for the fiscal year
1936-1937 on each and every One Hundred Dollare (4100) of assessed valuation of
all taxable property, real and personal, within the corporate limits of said
city, for the purpose of raising the necessary revenue for said fiscal year; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said tax, and the moneys arising therefrom,
when collected, shall be, and same are hereby, appropriated to and apportioned
among the several funds, and each special purpose and bonded indebtedness of the
City, as follows:
General Fund . . . . . 4 .6876
Interest and Redemption Fund . . .2163,
Recreation and Parks . . . .2135
Street Department . . . .2363
School Fund . . . . .2263
TOTAL . . . . 4 1.58
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in adjourned regular meeting assembled on the 15th day of September, 1936, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Godfrey, Morris, Weichhart and President Eschen, (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
