Resolution 02133RESOLUTION NO. 2133 RESOLUTION OF ACCEPTANCE AND CON2ENT TO RECORDATION RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF 1B2 CITY OF ALAMEDA that that certain deed of grant, dated October 15, 1934, and executed by the California Girls' Training Home, e corporation and that certain quitclaim deed, dated October 30, 1934, and executed by Alice M. Gott, Sophie Sherrard, Rena Scott Baxter, Florence S. Wist, Nellie S. Sharpsteen, Lottie Perkins Cemcne, Lela H. Hubbard, Winifred W. Whitman, Rose J. Williamson, Carrie D. Holt and Sarah F. Grahn, conveying and quitclaiming to the City of Alameda, a municipal corporation, all that certain real property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, and particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection. of the Southern line of Lincoln Avonue, formerly Railroad Avenue, with the Western Line of Linden Street, formerly Encinal Street; running thence Southerly along said line of Linden Street Two Hundred Seventy feet to the point of intersection thereof with Northern line of Haight Avenue; thence westerly along said line of Haight Avenue One Hundred Eighty-four feet, Three inches, to the point of intersection thereof with the Western boundary line of Lot Numbered 2, as shown on the Yap hereinafter referred to; thence Northerly along said Western boundary line Two Hundred Seventy feet to a point on said Southern line of Lincoln Avenue, formerly Railroad Avenue; thence Easterly along said last named line One Hundred Eighty-four feet, Three inches, to the point of beginning. BEING a portion of Lot Numbered 2, as said lot is delineated and so designated upon that certain Man entitled, "Map of the Lands of the Teutonia Park and Homestead Association at Alameda" - filed March 10, 1877 in Liber 5 of Maps, at page 3, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, for park and/or playground purposes only, be, and the same is hereby accepted, and the said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said grentee, hereby consents to the recordation of said deed of grant and said quitclaim deed, and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, as required by Section 1158 of the Civil Code of the State of California. I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of January, 1937, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Calcutt, Krumb, Maurer, Weiehhart and President Eschen, (5).
